Never Throw Stones

Here’s a little poem I’m sure I’ve referenced in the past. It’s by Irish playwright and novelist Brendan Behan, born on this date in 1923. Never throw stones at your mother, You’ll be sorry for it when she’s dead, Never throw stones at your mother, Throw bricks at your father instead.

On the radio this morning I heard an interview with a man who had lost his son. He is a poet and he wrote an epic poem about his grief. He read part of the poem on the radio and I really liked it, so I wanted to post it here.
