Kathleen A. GagneThis will be our second Christmas without mom. I still miss her so much that it hurts.

I wrote a little bit about our Christmas Eve traditions on my personal website last year.

I wish I had more photos of our Christmas trees. You know what I never seem to see any more? Tinsel. We used to get those packages of thin strips of metallic silver tinsel and mom would always make us wait until the tree was completely decorated before we could add it. For some reason I loved doing that, and I can still remember her laughing at me one year while I danced around the tree tossing tinsel into the air and watching it flitter and flutter onto the needles.
