So I Can Fly
from “Mom’s Journals”

May 15

C My Lord has Am wings
G My Lord can Am fly
My Lord can sing
My Lord can cry.

He came a baby
To Bethlehem
And he died a man
To save all G men

He wept for me
Alone in the garden
And on the tree
He gave me G pardon

He rose again
He conquered death
Then he went to heaven
And he’ll rule the G earth.

I break his heart
Each time I sin
Then I call his name
He makes me whole G again.

Oh, Jesus, let me love you.
Until I die.
Then give me wings
So I can G fly.
