The Honda

Hi, Honey,

ast week, someone put a note on the Honda saying they were interested in buying it. It would be really nice if I knew exactly what you want to do with it. It’s too late to use it for a tax write-off for this year. According to the people at the Dignity Project, if you donate it to them, it will be worth either $500 or $800 depending on whether it has fuel injection.

The last time it was jumped, it started right up, but that was at least a year ago. The sunroof leaks, and I covered it with a plastic sheet, but the inside still smells moldy.

In order to do anything, I will still have to send you the title so you can sign it over to me. I suppose I can wait to do that until Jen and I get to LA, unless you want to sell it.

Please take a few minutes to decide, and let me know.

Love you lots,

Mom

Mom,
I truly and honestly do not understand why you seem to have a mental block about my feelings for that car. I do not care in the least what happens to it. Do anything you want with it. Pretend like it is yours. If *you* can get a tax break from it, then great. If you can’t, then torch it, sell it, roll it onto I-75 … I do not care.

If you want me to sign anything I will.

Love,
dvg

Ok,

I’ll take that as your instructions. The last time we discussed it, when you were here, you wanted to take a tax break for it.

I think what I’ll do is get the title and fax it to you. Then you can sign it and get it notarized and fax it back. If I can sell it, I will. If not, I’ll donate it to charity and you can get the tax break.

Love you lots, goof,

Mom
