I have not received the medical records from the nursing home yet. 2
As soon as I do, they will be sent to Dr. Wolf for her review.
They have not provided a response to the insurance disclosure as of this date.
We are following up with them.
The moment I have anything, I will let you know.

Please let Dr. Wolf know that I am terribly sorry for the misunderstanding. I was under the impression that your firm was going to cover the other half of the payment to her on the grounds that you would be able to recuperate that from the case.
I honestly had no idea that she had not been paid the balance yet, and now I feel awful. There is simply no way I can produce $2,000.00 at the moment. The cost of the flights back and forth to Florida, the original $2,000.00 I paid to Dr. Wolf, what I had to pay the mortuary, the rental car, etc. has absolutely ruined me financially. I don’t have even close to $2,000.00 credit left on any of my credit cards, my savings account is gone, I won’t get another paycheck until the 16th, and the vast majority of that is already allocated to monthly bills.
On the 16th I will be able to get a few hundred dollars to her and I will do my best to pay the rest of the balance as quickly as possible, but I have no other options right now.
I am truly, truly sorry that I did not fully understand your explanation of how your firm working on a contingency basis works. Please, please let Dr. Wolf know that I did not intend to mislead her at all.
Do you think that this will have a negative impact on our ability to bring a suit against Woodland Terrace and / or whomever it is you intend to hold responsible for my mother’s death? Do you think Dr. Wolf is going to be very upset? What should I do?
Please confirm receipt of this email.
As of October 18th, 2012 at 2:47 PM, I had not received a response from Steve.
1 She emailed Steve about the balance due on the autopsy.
2 Could anyone have foreseen that Woodland Terrace would be uncooperative?
