No, I think I understand now:
You needed to create an estate so that we could get the State of Florida to recognize me as the authorized representative of my mother, and the Inventory and the Notice to Creditors are simply supplemental details associated with that process. Thanks for explaining.

Sent: August 15, 2013 @ 02:48 PM PDTI was very, very sad all day on Monday. I went to work and basically hid in my office all day, because any time anyone asked me how I was doing I was afraid I was going to start crying. I left early and spent the afternoon playing basketball with my son, who will be three next week. (We have a little hoop for him in the backyard and he loves to try to bounce the ball into the basket and make me run after it.) I was heartbroken the entire time thinking about how much fun she would have had getting to know him.
She died one year ago, but I really hadn’t gotten to talk to her for the entire nine months before that. From the first day she was sucked into the pathetic black hole of the State of Florida medical system, she was basically lost to me. She was drugged into a stupor almost the entire time, and (literally) scared to death.
So Monday was awful for me. It was only just a little bit more awful than the last twenty months have been.
I truly wish I could tell you something positive or hopeful or heartwarming, but I cannot. I’m sorry.
