Dear Mr. Ashton, et.al.,
I was wondering if you were aware of the recent settlement between Johnson & Johnson and the federal government regarding the improper / unethical prescription of the drug Risperdal. This is the same drug which I was told — by employees of Woodland Terrace — my mother was being administered in the days just prior to her death, even though they had asked my permission to give it to her and I had specifically refused to give them permission to give it to her.

Just a few weeks after my mother’s death, I tried to communicate this to my original lawyer as well.
I also noted the fact that my mother was in and out of the hospital multiple times over the last year of her life — each time getting discharged with a clean bill of health — yet she died of a pulmonary embolism, which is one of the primary risks associated with Risperdal:
