Another Desperate Plea

Dear Marla,

Good afternoon. I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving.

I was wondering if you’d yet had a chance to review all of the documentation I sent you regarding the untimely death my mother.

It’s now been 479 days since her death and 735 days since this entire ordeal began.

That means it’s been more than two full years during which I’ve daily — daily — made phone calls and sent emails desperately trying to get someone to help me, calling doctors and nurses and assisted living facilities and hospitals and lawyers and detectives and state and federal agencies.

I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars and I’ve cried every single day.

Last night there was a segment on The Daily Show about how Johnson & Johnson had settled with the government for bribing doctors to improperly prescribe drugs — including and highlighting Risperdal, the drug I begged Woodland Terrace to stop administering to my mother the day before she died.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do about this.

Sincerely,

David Vincent Gagne
