Gosh, it’s been a long time!
Anyway, I was taking a shower the other day, and it was a little cold out. I remembered taking showers at the convent at St. Patrick’s and how FREEZING it was every day in winter. I seem to recall that the water was even cold.
It just reminded me of you and our morning prayer sessions in the second floor room.
In April, I managed to fly to Chicago to see Jen baptized into a different church, but I think she’s in a place that is pretty much like where we were at St. Pat’s and that she’s not particularly attached to a specific “religious group.” I had a great time with her, and I loved Chicago. (I had not flown in over 20 years!)
Last month, I flew to Los Angeles to spend some time with my son. Again, it was an incredible time. We did the tourist stuff, but the best part was watching the Red Sox at the ESPN lounge in Disneyland and just hanging out with my son.
Ah, well, I was thinking of you and thought I would send you a line.

By the way, I’ve lost 65 pounds since you saw me last, and I’m having a ball!!!
